Clos Pegase is the Crossroads of Wine and Art and this summer the art comes alive with famed artist Jim Stallings (www.jimstallingsfineart.com) painting original work at Clos Pegase on a regular basis!
Jan and Mitsuko Shrem, Founders/Proprietors, invite you to enjoy the excitement of seeing artwork being born as you enjoy a tasting of our highly rated estate wines at Clos Pegase. Just as the Pegasus gave life to Wine and Art, Jim Stalling creates beautiful works of painted celebration. Jim, like Clos Pegase, captures the spirit of Bacchus: equal parts divine and joyfully down-to-earth. Please join us over the summer to partake in this unique experience!

Mid-Summer Madness - Barrel Tasting

Our annual summer celebration, designed with special features just for our Club Members, keeps getting more and more fun! We host this event annually as a way to thank our loyal Pegase Circle Wine Club members for their support of Clos Pegase and our wines.
Join Jan and Mitsuko Shrem, Founders/Proprietors, on this day of Bacchanalian merriment starting at 10:30am when Mr. Shrem will present his world-famous, "Bacchus the Rascal" for the last time at the winery this calendar year. Immediately following the show the caves will open and wine will flow! Be the FIRST to try our 2007 Hommage Cabernet and Hommage Chardonnay from barrel, delight in nibbles of cheese, enter the inner-sanctum of the "Members' Lounge" where exclusive wine and food await you (Wine Club Members Only) and fill your wine cellar (or your car!) with great offerings made available at the winery on this day only!

12:00pm - Barrel Tasting Opens; Members' Lounge Opens
3:30pm - Members' Lounge and Barrel Tasting Closes
This special event is complimentary for Pegase Circle Wine Club Members (4 people per membership). Non-members or additional guests are welcome to attend for a fee of $25 per person.

This event sold out last year, so plan early to attend this one-of-a-kind Harvest Bacchanal Festival, Wine Blending Party and Grape Stomp!
Jan and Mitsuko Shrem invite you to attend our special Harvest Bacchanal on Saturday, October 4 at Clos Pegase! This delightful afternoon will begin with a unique opportunity to participate in our Blend-Your-Own-Cabernet program. All Bacchanal Revelers will be placed onto teams (let us know if you want to be paired with specific party-goers!) who will learn the art of wine-blending, label design as well as wine sales & marketing! After this fun and humorous adventure you will truly understand how exciting it is to be a Napa Valley Vintner!
The afternoon gets even better with our famous Grape Stomp Competition - remember "I Love Lucy" ?!? Those who give us the most juice with their feet get the biggest prizes! And what would a Bacchanal be without a feast? The fun continues as you enjoy a delicious Napa Valley luncheon, complemented by our highly rated estate wines.

Carols In The Caves - 23rd Winter Solstice Season

Cave Music's Improvisator returns to the Clos Pegase Cave Theatre with a special Cave Of The Drums show as part of his 23rd annual Carols In The Caves season. This time he's bringing a ton of drums, bells, gongs and other musical surprises to drive out the old year and thunder in the new.
Join this relaxing, informal gathering in resounding underground acoustics amid cavorting statues, where the rare instrument master will transport you back to ancient times. Clos Pegase wines will be available at intermission. Be sure to bring your spirit of adventure!
